Applique Digitizing
Applique embroidery needs a different file structure from standard filled embroidery. We prepare applique digitizing files with placement stitches, tackdown stitches, fabric-hold planning, satin or decorative finishing borders, and machine-ready outputs for patches, names, large shapes, school designs, jackets, bags and apparel decoration.
Digital file delivery only: we prepare applique machine files; we do not ship physical patches, garments or fabric products.
Applique digitizing creates a machine file that tells the embroiderer where to place fabric, how to tack it down, and how to finish the edge. It is used when a design should include fabric pieces instead of filling the whole area with thread.

Holds the fabric in position before trimming or finishing.
Satin, zigzag, blanket or decorative stitching closes the edge and improves durability.
Stops can be added where the operator needs to place fabric, trim, or change steps.
Applique can reduce stitch count, lower thread buildup, improve large-area coverage and create a bold fabric-based look. It is especially useful for large jacket-back designs, team names, school letters, patch digitizing, bags and artwork that would become too dense if fully filled with stitches.
Team names, school initials and bold words can be built with applique fabric and clean finishing stitches.
Large back placements can use applique to reduce thread weight and keep the design more comfortable.
Applique can support badge shapes, layered fabric looks and border-based production.
Bold shapes and large brand marks may work well as applique when the artwork is not too detailed.
It uses placement, tackdown and finishing stitches so fabric pieces can be added to the embroidered design.
